We commend Chairman Landrieu and Senator Cochran for their bipartisan leadership for the shrimp industry on a range of issues.

So what are we doing to collect that money? And when could we see any of it?

Over 3 years ago, I brought this subcommittee together to examine the impacts of trade enforcement: Are we doing enough? Could we do more? Why is enforcing our trade rules so important for creating and maintaining jobs in America?

We support Chairman Landrieu's efforts to urge the United States Trade Representative to include in the principal negotiating objectives.

We appreciate Chairman Landrieu's specific emphasis on the need for Customs to work to collect the 1.6 billion dollars in uncollected antidumping and countervailing duties from China.

The China-wide dumping margin on crawfish tail meat is over 200 percent.

China is the big problem.

Having industry voice on that committee is key.

We also appreciate Chairman Landrieu's encouragement of a joint legislative proposal from the Department of Commerce and Customs.

We strongly support the trade enforcement objectives provided in Senate Bill 2534.

The Wilderness Society strongly supports S. 1875, the Wildfire Disaster Funding Act of 2013, co-sponsored by Senators Wyden and Crapo.

Today over 40 percent of your budget is devoted to wildland fire management. This is a dramatic increase from 13 percent of your budget in 1991.

I strongly support the President's supplementary request for 615 million in wildfire suppression.

We've got to fix the budgeting problem. It's only a matter of time until another destructive fire ravages the West.

This legislation enjoys the support of a broad coalition of senators on both sides of the aisle.

A natural disaster is not the time to play politics with recovery money.

The reality is that Immigration Courts are seriously overwhelmed by the number of removal proceedings.
