Well, I think it provided conservatives -- I think it provided cover to conservatives. Actually, when you look at the polls, they are not balanced at all who people are mad at. They are overwhelmingly mad at the congressional Republicans.

The public blames the congressional Republicans much more than the president, Ari. That's a fact. That cannot be disputed.

I don't know of a single Democrat that said that it is no big deal if we don't raise the debt ceiling.

A majority of the country says that they're not in favor of increasing the debt limit.

We need really good regulation down here and we need very, very aggressive plaintiff's law that hold everybody's feet to the fire.

You can't do it with oil companies buying off regulators. You can't do it with oil companies acting irresponsible and not wanting to be held accountable.

It is very doubtful. One of the things that the history of the constitution has actually filed an Article of Confederation. It came into being to establish a strong federal government.

That's his job. He's the speaker of the House. They have the Republican majority. They have the Republican whip. Why do you think they call it a whip? Because he goes and whips people in line.

We need tens of millions of dollars at least on research, maybe hundreds of millions, so this thing is a long way from over.

They might not have been the only ones but they got a good bit of it.
