This is a flawed strategy. It just doesn't work. It is not working for emissions, it is not working for affordability, and it is not working for energy security.

Clearly, the strategy that has been implemented under this administration is impacting those who can least afford it the most. It has been a complete disaster.

In the last 10 years, the emissions reduction in the United States--has been the largest in the history of energy.

That statement is just completely ignorant.

Because people make crap up and then they go and legislate on it.

You wonder why we are in a situation where people are out there proposing solutions in search of problems.

So once again, people sit up here and they say things that are just not true.

Didn't say anything that they just said, and then they sit there and legislate it.

People up here aren't required to tell the truth, but they can do whatever.

Gasoline prices have gone up over a hundred percent over the past year and a half.

They don't care about international norms. They don't care about standards or rules.

For every 1 ton of emissions the U.S. has reduced, China has actually gone up by 4.

Under Paris Climate Accords, emissions for the globe are actually going to go up, not down.

We have lost about 2,000 square miles of our coast. That is like taking the State of Rhode Island and just wiping it off the map entirely.

We have got to get it right.

If we don't get it right, you are going to be the ones that inherit the problems, right?

This issue on climate has been this issue that has just been really political and really volatile now for a number of years.

I have heard a lot about the labor shortage that is resulting in canceled routes or canceled flights, and the adverse impact that that is having on families.

I have heard a lot about higher energy prices and how those are influencing higher ticket costs, which puts aviation travel out of reach for many of the constituents that we represent.

I have heard from a lot of constituents over the past several weeks about aviation, and I have heard a lot of concerns about congestion at the airports, the inability to get through security.

I have never seen more inexperience and just doubling down on stupid strategies on energy in my entire life.

This Administration is solely responsible for the prices and the energy crisis that we are experiencing today, solely responsible.

This Administration's energy strategy is no to everything.

It has been amazing to me, watching this Administration blaming Vladimir Putin for the energy price crisis that is impacting every American family.

I know that you all have been cannibalizing the Polar Sea and Polar Star to try to use duct tape and bubble gum to do what you can.
