The 800 million dollars is absolutely essential to supporting our needs to recover from the pandemic.

I think a better solution would be to empower this very Committee to fulfill its responsibility in the government funding process.

Houston and Harris County wanted to give you and the congressional Democrats a resounding applause for allowing those direct payments to come to our local jurisdictions.
