COVID-19 is still in our communities, and it is still spreading. The evidence could not be clearer. Wearing a mask is not only safe, but it is necessary to avoid another shutdown. Therefore I'm announcing that beginning 12:01 a.m., July 3rd, every Kansan in a public space must wear a mask.
