I hope everybody across America who is concerned with this issue should note the vote, because there was only one person in this body who was against the amendment, which I hope makes one point crystal-clear. That is that no one, perhaps with the exception of one Member of this body, had any intention of the Federal Government reaching out and trying to certify teachers in home schooling operations and in private schools in this country. I want that point clearly understood.
