This project will create good-paying jobs, strengthen our national and economic security, and ensure the technologies of the future are developed and manufactured here in the United States.
I think members of our leadership just haven’t prioritized it in recent history because members of Congress have not sufficiently vocalized their support for this effort.
But it does require transparency, discipline, and a clear strategy to ensure any costs borne by Americans are tied to well-defined national security objectives.
