The Great Lakes are an important part of Indiana’s ecosystem and economy, and I’m pleased the Senate has passed our bill to protect and preserve these lakes for generations to come.

Much has changed since that day in October 2001, but the threats facing our nation and those who serve it remain very real.

Trust in Congress remains at an all-time low. Passing this bill will help restore some level of trust in Congress and those who serve.
