We continue to learn so much about teacher evaluation in the past years and, you know, I think it is time we move forward with ESEA reauthorization.

We all agree No Child Left Behind helped the nation take enormous steps toward a better education system, but we now recognize the law's shortfalls.

For children in rural areas, or whose schools otherwise aren't able to fully support their education needs, virtual schools provide a critical opportunity.
In my home state of Indiana, leaders have taken steps to expand access to blended learning programs and virtual schools.
We have a great opportunity to work on things to make a difference in our children's lives.
