I constantly find, as I visit both my small businesses and my big businesses and my unions and my chambers, that there is an overwhelming concern, probably the number one concern within the business community, and it was expressed very well today by the second panel, by people from Intel and other major corporations, international corporations, that we need to do a better job in this country of training our people in technology and math and science and school. The business community makes this oftentimes their number one concern; that when one walks out of an Indiana high school or Wisconsin or Florida or North Carolina or California high school, that that degree means that one should be able to walk right into a business at the local community and have certain requisite skills so that one is employable or can continue one's education someplace else. We need to continue to challenge our public schools, which are doing a very good job, but we need to have them do an even better job in this challenging global economy.
