I will make another radical suggestion. This is purely anecdotal from our farm experience. But I planted, over the last 18 years, 60 acres of black walnut trees. This is on acreage that I found was submarginal. We used to plant more, but it appears that sort of is a grandfather's dream. I will not be there. But you have, at least it seems to me--by all the calculations by the foresters who measure the growth year by year--more of a return from the walnut trees than I am getting from the corn. That is a very long-range vision.
