I say, with relation to the current amendment, that no one disputes the need for good nutrition, but the amendment obviously opens the door for food stamp recipients to spend scarce food dollars on items other than food. There is no dispute that it is best to get vitamins and minerals from food. Therefore, I oppose the amendment. I will not speak further.
