Promotion of energy efficiency and renewable energy programs can increase our energy security, address a variety of air pollution problems and lead to a stronger economy. I am pleased to learn that the Budget Resolution accommodates federal initiatives to enhance energy security and renewable energy provided that these initiatives can be funded within overall budget constraints.
