Mr. President, I rise to introduce legislation to authorize the extension of nondiscriminatory treatment, normal trade relations treatment, to the products of Moldova. Moldova has been in compliance with Jackson-Vanik-related concerns for some time now, and repeal of this legislation will provide an important impetus for improving trade relations between the United States and Moldova, advancing Moldova's Western ambitions, and laying the foundation for closer U.S.-Moldovan political engagement. ______
