I think we've got to get back to those core values and principles that have always made our country and our party strong and prosperous.

I wrote 'What Conservatives Believe' because just in the last four or five years, there's been a rise of what I call the populist right, that focuses more on what we're against than what we're for.

It's deeply offensive to me that you could have a fund that could even possibly compensate people who assaulted police officers or vandalised the Capitol on January 6.

There's clearly been an effort by some to rewrite that history, but I don't expect it'll work.
