NIPSCO is a monopoly utility that Hoosiers pay every month with the expectation that it will use its considerable resources to maintain its system, prepare for severe weather and restore service as quickly as possible when disaster strikes.

Even if the major disaster declaration bid is rejected, we’re, again, in a good place.

This is a more granular approach that’ll help entities, families that were displaced, losing their home, underinsured, no insurance, that type of stuff.

Next step would be (that) we’ll find a replacement for Andy, and nothing else to announce there other than I was disappointed that he didn’t take on affordability and holding utilities accountable.
