Jim Banks is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Indiana's 3rd congressional district since January 3, 2017. A member of the Republican Party, Banks has focused on issues such as trade, national security, and fiscal responsibility during his time in office. He has been an advocate for policies aimed at countering the influence of countries like China in U.S. markets and has expressed concerns about the potential changes to Senate rules by Democrats, particularly regarding the filibuster.
Civilian control of the military is the bedrock of our system, and avoiding partisan political ideology is essential to the strength and viability of our military.
I want to welcome everyone to this hearing of the Military Personnel Subcommittee.
I'd be curious. Hopefully, a study comes out soon that would talk about the overall cost of implementing left wing political agendas that some of these programs are.
