Well, of course the President vetoed this bill because it was the right thing to do. He vetoed the bill because it slashes funding for the Native Americans by $325 million. My friend from Ohio talks about the additional $50 million they have put in. That is a sop, a pittance, when one realize that the original cut to the funds for the Native Americans was over $400 million by the Senate, almost a half billion dollars.”
