Do you think there are certain groups that these, whoever, go after more than others, or is it equal across the board, or is it like seniors or children?

H.R. 4779 is an important bipartisan bill that will allow the FTC to continue international cooperation for investigations of fraud and abuse.

I just want to remind my colleague from Kentucky that, yes, Lincoln was born in Kentucky, but his library is in--his museum is in Springfield, Illinois.

So when you talk about the U.S. SAFE WEB Act, it doesn't just protect consumers from traditional cases of fraud and deception, but as you said, also threats to privacy and children's privacy also?

It has been a true pleasure working with Ranking Member McMorris Rodgers on the SAFE WEB Act.

Not only is the youth tobacco epidemic a crisis, but predatory practices have led to severe disparities in health outcomes, including increased rates of various morbidities such as lung cancer and heart attacks among minority populations.

This is personal for me, too, because my son was a smoker and he vapes.

The intended purpose of Section 230 was to allow companies to moderate content under the Good Samaritan provision, and yet this law seems to be widely misapplied.

Because of this, I am invested in working to improve the health of all communities and reducing health disparities, especially for vulnerable and minority populations.

I ask Congress to put forth more research into trauma.

We can't be an oasis of common sense surrounded by States beholden to the gun lobby.

We need a national solution to this national problem.

We need strong Federal laws against straw purchases and gun trafficking because these common sense ideas are proven to save lives.

Gun violence is an epidemic that kills nearly 100 Americans each and every day and forever changes the lives of 250 others.

until we pass some national laws to deal with this, there are going to be those issues.
