Rules and regulations are driving financial institutions to merge, exit entire lines of businesses.

However, the Fed has implemented some controversial policies that I am concerned may have some unintended consequences that, in fact, could increase systemic risk.

I recognize it is possible to have a regulatory regime that protects the American people.

I know we are in agreement on the need to prevent bailouts of our Nation's financial institutions from ever happening again.
