Henry Hyde was a personal friend and mentor of mine. He first helped restrict abortion funding just 3 years after Roe v. Wade. Today, Planned Parenthood receives over 363 million tax dollars a year. We're giving 1 million tax dollars a day to an organization in desperate need of oversight. If he were here today, I think Henry Hyde would be shocked and appalled at the abhorring conditions of fraud, overbilling, and the general lack of transparency found at Planned Parenthood and at other abortion clinics across the country. We must win this fight for life. It's the only way that we can literally win our future.
