I am worried about the Midwest. That is where I am from. We have floods, many of our farms are under water.
So the President of the United States, when he was running for office, said that he would break the Environmental Protection Agency into little tidbits.
If we want to stop people coming from places where they can't farm any more to the United States, we better do something about this.
I have been very troubled by what we've seen in regard to what the President said when he was running for office.
It seems to me that what we've seen is a scrubbing of any mentions of climate change.
It is clear that we have to reauthorize the National Health Service Corps and the Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education Program for at least 5 years, if not longer.
This status quo is unacceptable for our growing aging population, for our children, and for all vulnerable communities in our country.
I just want to go on record as saying the two things that you said, a text message or just going to the fob, I think is absolutely not sufficient.
Last year, finally, rear backup cameras became standard in new vehicles; an issue that I championed for a long time before it actually became the law and was enforced.
