We must do all we can to fight the scourge of harassment, sexual or otherwise.

The stories we've been hearing about widespread sexual harassment occurring across different workplaces, industries, and seemingly in every corner of our society are sickening.

We need to close the STEM skills gap in the near term, but I think it is just as important to create an agile STEM workforce that can respond to changing needs over the long term.

This is not the time to be complacent about our standing as a global economic leader.

My biggest takeaway from the report is that we're falling behind.

Prizes and other types of challenges have proven to be valuable tools to advance research and technological innovation to help solve some of today's biggest social and economic problems, including head injuries.

Our prizes and challenges should be audacious but achievable, so we do want to inspire that public imagination
