We will not pay a ransom for Congress reopening the government and raising the debt limit.

There must be a clean debt limit increase that allows us to pay the bills we have incurred and avoid default.

The Nation's economy cannot afford the threat of default and shutdown month after month.

So let's pass a budget, put people back to work, and end this Republican shutdown.
