Through these acts and quiet gestures, we can honor their memory and reclaim our sense of togetherness.

We will degrade and ultimately destroy ISIL through a comprehensive and sustained counterterrorism strategy.

I will not hesitate to take action against ISIL in Syria, as well as Iraq.

It is America that has the capacity and the will to mobilize the world against terrorists.

America will lead a broad coalition to roll back this terrorist threat.
