I mean, the crazy thing about all this is first off, if you think about the Supreme Court decision, they did not really go into much specificity about what is unofficial or official acts.

How can a party claim to be patriotic if it idolizes a man who tried to overthrow a free and fair election?

I mean, this is a pattern with him and I think, look, I guess in a way I feel bad for him because he's totally incapable of understanding what sacrifice is and appreciating it.

You want to say that Tim Walz, somehow avoided leaving -- deploying with his unit and lead his unit down, fine. I totally don't agree, that's crap. But listen, Donald Trump fled the draft when his country needed him.

Look, Tim Walz had every right after 20 years to retire from the Army National Guard. He chose to retire before his unit was alerted. He chose to retire while he ran for Congress. He had every right to do that and it is absolutely insane…

I hear so many Democrats complaining about this discussion that's going on. And oh, we have to show the kind of unity Republicans show and we're showing this division. It's bull crap.

The Republicans are officially a cult with a platform that is simply, 'we support Donald Trump and no issues.'

I don't think it is unhealthy for the Democrats to have this conversation, we are were still a few months away.

The Democrats aren't a cult yet. I mean, look, we -- if you look back eight years and basically up until the last couple of years, they've always been people speaking out against Donald Trump.

It should have been Joe Biden that was crushing Donald Trump's lies last night, and he wasn't able to do that.

But you have to prosecute the case against Donald Trump.

Democrats have to decide what is the best way to defend democracy.

I'm proud that I'm not standing here, sitting on a stage, supporting a man who is a habitual liar, who couldn't tell the truth, who pretended like the January 6th Committee deleted all evidence and it's on the frickin' Internet.

A threat on democracy is something that can really damage us now, to a point where we won't even have the luxury of debating policy differences.

I think when you say I'm not going to vote for Trump, but I can't support Biden, it's honestly cowardice because what you don't want -- you're like, oh, I still want to be viable in the GOP.

The most important thing is defense of this democracy. And as a conservative, I'm committed to preserving this democracy.

I've refused to swear allegiance to a man. My oath is to the Constitution. And again, to preserve this country in this democracy for my kid, to honor my grandfather who fought in World War II.

I mean, you grow up, you a few views change, moderate a little bit, but I'm the same person. The party has slightly left me because it's not swearing allegiance to any kind of principles or policy anymore.

If you actually look at Biden on that fundraiser, if you zoom in on his face, his face is, like, smiling, and he's looking around.
