Our families do not need our words, they need our actions.

It blows my mind that Democrats seem to think that all they have to do is dump a whole lot of money into the same system that's failed us.

To those who provided testimony today, this is one of those topics that is extremely necessary to have a conversation on, but I'll just tell you personally for me, it's one of the most difficult.

When Congress considers a piece of legislation, I believe we should be absolutely clear about how the legislation would affect the American people.

The only parties likely to win if the bill is enacted into law are the trial lawyers.

This bill being pushed by Democrats disregards current law, real-world workplace situations, and Supreme Court precedent; ultimately rewarding trial lawyers at the expense of older Americans.

The so-called Protecting Older Workers Against Discrimination Act is just another empty promise from Democrats.

It's already against the law to discriminate in the workplace because of an individual's age.

The so-called Protecting Older Workers from Discrimination Act is just another empty promise wrapped in a convenient title.

This will not result in a fair or adequate examination of the underlying issues.

Good policy comes from thorough examination and bipartisan collaboration.

When I disagree with the legislative content, I often consider compromise. But in this case, there is only one reasonable response, and that is a ``no'' vote.
