In this town it's kind of hard to explain this to people, but Senator Wyden knows this and Senator Murkowski knows this.

You know, you're right on that, Senator Wyden. When we did the road less rule in Idaho we provided in the rule for a RAC type committee.

You've certainly been a pioneer on this, Senator Wyden. We all thank you for that.

When you start talking about insurance it is a great intellectual exercise.

Well that is going to reflect the risk, is it not?

I want to thank you for holding the hearing.

I want to see us encourage small business. I want to see us leave small businesses alone...

I want to see that this robust market is protected and that people have the freedom to start and be successful in businesses...

If we can lower their taxes, if we can lower the regulatory structure, if we can keep the government out of their shops...

It is a good exercise to have.

What I think right now is our approach right now is to clean up after the fact instead of mitigating before the disasters occur.
