this should not be a contest to see who is more for the environment. We should all be in favor of a cleaner, safer, healthier America for our children and their children. I have called myself a probusiness environmentalist. We have been able to strike a balance between development and the environment. A good environment makes good business and, therefore, good business will invest in protecting the environment. Economic growth and quality environment are not mutually exclusive. They, in fact, can and should and must support one another. With that, Mr. President, I yield back the remainder of my time.
