I thank the gentleman for his hard work in this area and for his efforts on the Transportation Committee. Commuter railroads are an extremely important mode of transportation and are critical to many of our regional economies. I would be more than happy to work with the gentleman on ways to address the PTC funding issues as we go to conference and in the future.
