Americans are a free people who know that freedom is a right of every person and the future of every nation. The liberty we prize is not America's gift to the world; it is God's gift to all humanity.'' Now we face an AIDS crisis in Africa. It is severe. We have the unique opportunity to help save and extend the lives of Africans. However, we must ensure that our efforts to fight AIDS in Africa do not infringe upon their liberty, their freedom, and the right to life of unborn Africans.
