I have a couple of random things to clean up on before I get to the topic that I came here to discuss. But I can't resist bringing up a resolution that emerged in my attention today, H. Con. Res. 36. It's a concurrent resolution. It is introduced by Representative Lee of California, and it is for herself, Mr. Ellison, Mrs. Capps, Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Christensen, Mr. Grijalva, Mr. Honda, Mr. Israel, Mrs. Carolyn Maloney, Ms. McCollum, Ms. Schakowsky and Ms. Speier. These are the names of the original cosponsors. This resolution catches my attention, Mr. Speaker. It says this: Recognizing the disparate impact of climate change on women and the efforts of women globally to address climate change. Now, that was news to me. I hadn't considered the idea that if the climate is changing--they think they know why but they dare not have that debate any longer because the data was fraudulent--but now they're suggesting that the Earth is getting warmer, that it is man's fault, and it's women that are disparately impacted by it. I hadn't seen such a theory, Mr. Speaker. And it goes on to say ``whereas.'' It has a whole series of whereases, as we know in a resolution. Whereas, women in the United States are the linchpin of families. I agree that women are the linchpins of families, and it would be better if we had more men who were playing a more significant role. I don't think that is the position of the authors of this resolution.…
