Wouldn't you want to know what their objections are? I would think that would be important. Bart Stupak on the pro-life amendment worked very closely with Smith and Pennsylvania Representative Joe Pitts. They worked very hard to pass, and they received 64 votes on a pro-life amendment to that. I understand that Bart Stupak is not on this negotiation either. And what we're seeing come out and what came out of the Senate, it looks to me like the package that's there--there's going to be a bill that still funds abortion and compels Americans to fund abortions through their premiums in one fashion or another, or brokers them through an exchange, and also one that funds illegals. And those are two things that are completely egregious to me, to think we compel taxpayers to do that.
