In any case, this legislation simply says that any claims now would be resolved if this legislation passes, ``any and all claims, whether based on aboriginal or recognized title, are hereby extinguished.'' That's what this legislation does. Then it says also ``these are unique claims and shall not be considered precedent.'' We know, again, that everything that happens in this Congress sets a precedent and creates an idea and an avenue. I'm faced with a situation that, I think, could be multiplied in its difficulty because of the actions this Congress may take today, Mr. Speaker. Perhaps I'll take that up in my closing remarks.
