Small business and farming are the backbone of Iowa's economy. What I believe may be the most important components of this tax package are the provisions encouraging business investment. Accelerated depreciation incentives and increasing the amount small businesses can expense to $100,000 are crucial to the success of entrepreneurs in Iowa. Overall, this measure will create over 9,000 jobs in my home state in just the first year.”
