The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 135, beginning on line 3, strike ``date on which the major disaster or emergency was declared'' and insert ``initial date of the incident period of the major disaster or emergency''. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 811, the gentleman from Iowa (Mr. King) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Iowa.
