I have had the privilege to travel to some of the corners of America in the last few weeks and had my conversations in the coffee shops and in the restaurants and in city halls and in meeting places, and I was a little bit surprised that--I had had the perception that in my district immigration becomes an issue that is very much front and center, and I expect that's going to be the case in States like Arizona, California, Texas, those States that are border States, New Mexico, where you have a large number of illegal border crossings. But I didn't expect it would be the case in the Northeast, for example, and other places across the country to the intensity that it was. I found that at every stop someone would bring up immigration.
