But under current value and current dollars, a child born today, for being a natural-born American citizen, their share of the national debt is $44,000. That's like here's your mortgage, sign here with your little ink footprint when you're born, we'll wheel you right out of the delivery room and you've got a $44,000 debt that you have to pay the interest and the principal on. That same child born today, by the time they start fifth grade in school, their share of the national debt will be $88,000. That's the difference between the Obama budget and the budget that we had coming into the Obama administration.
