As the yearlong celebration of America’s 250th anniversary continues, Iowa is proud to celebrate its unique role in American history as a leader in agricultural innovation—and there’s no better time to do that than harvest time.

During fiscal year 2027, new General Fund receipts are projected to grow to $8.54 billion, an increase of 2.8 percent over last year.

“Today’s special session advances the most consequential economic development ever to come to our state,” Governor Reynolds said.
