Around here, we use the words ``budget gimmickry'' pretty freely. And I want to say, as an example, that every Senator in this Senate knows the term ``Medicare sequester'' as a budget gimmick, so something at the end of the 10-year window we are going to draw in to spend money today. That is one example of a budget gimmick. I just want to make sure that we don't widen that down the road. I yield the floor.

Contrary to your misguided statement, the major embarrassment of the hearing was Democrats falling over themselves defending unlawful and unconstitutional actions by Jack Smith.
I don’t know to what extent you folks are on social media, but I know social media has a big impact on the election.
I again call on my Democratic colleagues to join my oversight work instead of trying to defend Smith and sweep his abuse of authority under the rug.
So you better get on your social media and get people cranked up to see what the alternative is.
