Mr. President, I have a motion to commit at the desk, and I ask that it be reported. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the motion. The legislative clerk read as follows: The Senator from Iowa [Mr. Grassley] moves to commit the bill, H.R. 1319, to the Committee on Finance with instructions to report the same back to the Senate in 3 days, not counting any day on which the Senate is not in session, with changes that--(1) are within the jurisdiction of such committee; and (2) include reforms to protect taxpayers from perpetually subsidizing private sector pension plans by ensuring the long-term solvency of the multiemployer pension system.
