The legislative clerk read as follows: Mr. Santorum moves that the managers on the part of the Senate at the conference on the disagreeing votes of the 2 Houses on the Senate amendment to the bill H.R. 4297 (to provide for reconciliation pursuant to the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2006 (H. Con. Res. 95)) be instructed to report a final conference report that includes a permanent extension of the above-the-line deduction for tuition and fees (based on section 103 of the amendment passed by the Senate).”
