I am extremely concerned about the number of known terrorists and criminals who have come across our southern border as a result of the weakness.

One of my top concerns with the crisis we are seeing at our southern border is that we know that individuals on the terror watch list, sex offenders, some of these transnational gang members, drug traffickers, human traffickers, the list goes on and on of the bad people with violent criminal histories that we are seeing come into our country.

I want to make sure that the American people are not subjected to a substantially more rigorous screening process than some of these illegal aliens.

Common sense would say that doesn't seem right.
