The bottom line shared up front, is that the DOD and the VA need to work together to think outside the box.
More importantly, something that really annoyed me, Senator, some of these veterans have actually been attacked and assaulted going or coming on that one-mile walk.
I believe that, collectively and creatively, we can find a way to span a distance of one mile and get them a shuttle.
