This hearing is about more than considering a nominee for the Supreme Court. It is about the future of our country.
It is about Muslim Americans who are victims in a renewed wave of hate crimes asking for protection from the courts.
For me, this hearing is about the people in this country who are getting screwed every single second, minute, and hour of the day.
Over the past few months, I have heard from thousands of people who are deeply worried about their families, their kids, and the future of our country under the Trump administration.
How do you change the culture when, for example, you have a Commander in Chief who exhibits certain attitudes toward women?
So if I were to go to Kaneohe Marine Corps, for example, would there be a session that I could attend where this situation would be discussed?
What I am getting at, are there any statutory prohibitions that result in subsequent or sequential review as opposed to people just not being on the same page at these various agencies?
