Domestic violence is tragic and the damage it causes does not end with the victim.

My basic concern is that you want enough flexibility to implement according to the individual needs.

The new law will help bring survivors of domestic violence out of the shadows to receive life-saving services.

That seems like something we ought to work on as a community.

Hawaii's most recent snapshot was sobering. In one day, over 500 domestic violence victims were served in Hawaii.

We have made progress in preventing domestic violence and supporting victims.
