I want to commend you for holding this hearing. The costs in health care are a concern for all. I would respectfully suggest that the major fundamental change that has occurred in health care over the past 2 years has been the bill that was passed by Congress that really does nothing to address the costs in health care, with the exception of the ability of the Federal Government to deny care to recipients.
