We cannot afford inaction. And while the ECA may be a solution to a smaller problem, it is not the solution to the massive crisis that is facing our democracy.
What I am willing to do is make sure every voice is counted, every vote gets cast. And even if they don’t vote for me, I’m going to fight to make sure our democracy works in Georgia, because that’s what leadership looks like.
Georgia is the tip of the spear. And if we can stop these laws here in Georgia, if we can reverse this trend, we can do so much not only to protect the women of Georgia, but to protect women in the south.
And if you`re a Black woman, then your likelihood of dying is three times higher.
