I truly have not made any decisions and that is in part because there’s an urgency to 2025 that we cannot ignore.
I cannot say that my faith justifies the venom that has been turned against the LGBTQIA community, the way we have demonized the transgender community.
I cannot call myself a Christian and not believe that it is my responsibility to help the stranger, to help immigrants, to help the dispossessed.
Unfortunately, we cannot decry political violence and then sanction the sending of the Marines and the National Guard to stop protesters and not believe that that conflicting message doesn’t communicate itself.

My advice for Democrats is not to just talk about resistance, but also demonstrate insistence.
Creating divides by pretending differences are distractions is just one small part of what Trump and the Republican Party seek to accomplish.
We must differentiate between what is shock and awe and what is meaningful action.
I am a woman, so abortion rights are not a cultural issue. It’s a medical issue. It’s an economic issue. It’s an educational issue. It’s a moral issue.
