If the Senator will yield very briefly, I say the passion that the Senator from Virginia has relative to the men and women in our Armed Forces has been exhibited in our committee time and again. It is pretty obvious to see why. It is because of men and women like the Senator who have served in the Guard and Reserve over the last 50 years that we now truly are a blended force. We are a force of military men and women when it comes time to join hands and go to the fight. It truly is a seamless integration between the Active Duty and the Reserve and the Guard today in Iraq. That is why I think it is very important. I thank the Senator for his comments and his leadership.
